Naturism allowed. Very relaxed and mixed atmosphere, which is increasingly rare! The gays are concentrated next to the showers from which trails leave through the reeds.
Located about 6 km from downtown Lavandou, going toward St-Tropez and before the Cavaliere Beach, this sand beach owes it reputation to the restaurant which is found here Le Cabanon. To find this beach, go toward St-Tropez. After Aiguebelle we find a bend in the road before arriving at Cavaliere.
Are there any naturist beaches near le Lavandou and can they be accessed without a car. This one, apparently lelavandou. There is also one in Hyeresjust along the coast, which I discovered ahem!
I love your site btw! Alex Slater. A small and quaint fishing village in the heart of the French Riviera, Le Lavandou makes for the perfect seaside holiday.
This former small fishing port offers an exceptional setting made of beaches and nature. Originally, Le Lavandou was part of the commune of Bormes-les-Mimosas until Le Lavandou is now completely autonomous and is one of the most beautiful villages in Provence.
Here the sixties have never died. Its name means: island of the rising sun. One is even more special than the others.
Nobody does au naturel quite like the French: with a multitude of nudist beaches, vast established resorts and even dedicated shopping centers. France has a long record of naturism and the resorts are stylish and accredited by the French Federation of Naturism. Located within the Quartier Naturiste, aka Nudist Quarter, has a superb sandy beach, many swimming pools and also shops designated for naturists!
The menu is very basic: fish, lobster, prawns, omelettes. But don't be fooled, as everything is fresh, beautifully cooked and delicious. Tables are crammed together which adds to a party atmosphere.
Le Lavandou is a pretty and unpretentious beach resort on 12 kms of coastline in the Var, situated midway between Saint Tropez and Toulon. With its wide sandy beach, Le Lavandou has been a popular beach resort for many years. It has a nice old town, three busy yacht marinas and a good Thursday market, but don't expect the quaint charm to last into the evening, when the glitzy lights come on for the young to enjoy the nightlife, this is quite a lively town in the summer months!
