However, the good news is, there are actually mods that allow female Exiles to get Brianna the Handmaiden as a party member! Unfortunately, despite the fact that such mods have already existed for a while, there are still KotOR 2 fans who do not know the existence of such mods, which is why I am making this masterlist. Originally I made this list in a reblog, but now I am making a whole new post for this so hopefully this list can be found more easily, especially since the OP I reblogged had deactivated their blog.
Available today on Steam, the new releases are published by Aspyr and come with a variety of new features which have also been implemented in the previously available PC version. The game now includes native widescreen support for monitors at up to a 5K resolution and full controller support. Gameplay achievements and cloud saves have been added, as well.

Spoilers below. Protect your virgin eyes. So, I'm finally playing my first run-through of KOTOR as a male character, and I'm wondering how the developers make the game work if you decide to play a female.

Among the possible romance options, only male Exiles can romance Visas Marr, with her romance scene or at least, the closest thing the game has to one occurs near the endgame see below for details, though beware of possible spoilers. What this mod do is to make the Visas romance scene available for female Exiles as well. In Visas' case, she can confess her love for the male Exile, and the male Exile can agree to her to "look upon" each other through the Force.

This mod makes the Handmaiden a romance option for female Exiles and the Disciple a romance option for male Exiles. You may use this mod as you see fit, including showing it in screenshots or making it compatible with your mod.
